Region I meeting
The next UNESCO IHP Region 1 meeting of experts will be taking place in Delft, the Netherlands on 14-16 May 2018. This meeting will be co-hosted by IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (IHE Delft) and the International Groundwater Resources Assessment Centre (IGRAC). 23rd IHP Council
The planning, definition of priorities, and supervision of the execution of International Hydrology Programme (IHP) are ensured by the Intergovernmental Council. The Council is composed of 36 UNESCO Member States elected by the General Conference of UNESCO at its ordinary sessions held every two years. Equitable geographical distribution and appropriate rotation of the representatives of the Member States are ensured in the composition of the Council. SWWW Session – Sustainable infrastructure for inclusive green growth
The seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss what exactly is meant by sustainable infrastructure from an ecosystem and water development perspective, and present pragmatic ideas for implementing sustainable/green infrastructure in water resources management in developing and developed countries.
